Well friends, I have some big news to share. If you’re on the newsletter list you heard this yesterday, but for everyone else- we’re moving!
Our family is moving to Hilton Head, South Carolina in June. After three amazing years in Baltimore we’re off on our next adventure. We’re still kind of trying to wrap our heads around it. It’s all happened pretty quickly, but we feel confident that this is where God has called us. We have absolutely fallen in love with this city our life here and didn’t see ourselves leaving so soon, but we are thrilled for my husband’s new job and a major bonus is that we are landing much closer to family. I am a mixed bag of emotions these days- don’t get too close. Crying? Laughing? Going crazy buying plants for our stoop? Stuffing my face with Chipotle? Buying new beach flip-flops? Check, check, check, check, check.
Now onto the part you’re probably wondering about: session scheduling.
If you live in Baltimore and hadn’t already booked but were interested in a photo session this summer, please contact me ASAP. The basic goal is to fit in as many of you as possible before we hit the road, but taking extra sessions this month (and packing my whole house) means that proofing will be a bit delayed. I will work as many portrait sessions as I possibly can into my schedule for the next four weeks, with the understanding that processing and turnaround time will be extended during the transition. If you’re a patient kind of person, this is for you! If you’re not very patient, maybe this will be a good way to practice!
If you live (or vacation) in South Carolina, I’m excited to be near you again! I’m currently booking July and August summer sessions locally in Hilton Head and will of course be available for travel to other cities. Summer dates always fill up the fastest, so if you have a specific timeframe in mind I recommend booking pretty soon.
I’m so grateful to have such wonderful clients and friends, both in Maryland and South Carolina. Thank you guys for all your love and support at both ends of our move.
Onto the next important topic of discussion- why is my baby awake and playing games in his crib before 7am on a rainy morning? This is the best sleeping weather EVER.
